Detail view of PRESSURE SWITCH

pressure switch for lubrication system
Description

Our industrial pressure switches have a very durable case to protect the electronics of the unit and even will have explosion cases for many applications, such as in oil and gas exploration and extraction.

When not in a very dangerous industrial process, most pressure switches will have a stainless steel case to protect the unit from mild acids and slightly caustic applications.

All pressure switches are used for their output to control pumps, PLCs, or just send a signal to a panel meter to control processes or signal need for attention. A pressure switch opens or closes a corresponding switch contact as soon as a preset pressure is reached. Depending on the requirement, pressure switches are used with mechanical or electrical switch contacts, with or without displays and with various setting possibilities. We are the leading manufacturers and suppliers of Pressure switches from Faridabad, India.

How a Pressure Switch Works in a Lubrication System

In a centralized lubrication system, the pressure switch monitors line pressure continuously. When the pump runs and pressure reaches the set point within the timer cycle, the switch confirms delivery is complete. If pressure fails to build — due to a blocked line, broken fitting, empty reservoir, or pump fault — the switch triggers an alarm or shuts down the machine to prevent dry-running damage.

This makes the pressure switch the key safety device in any automated lubrication system. A pressure gauge shows pressure visually; the pressure switch acts on it automatically.
