Description
A locking screw fits over a push-in tube fitting on a lubrication line to hold it firmly against pump vibration, preventing the fitting from working loose over time and causing an oil or grease leak at the joint. Left unlocked, a fitting on a continuously running motorized unit can back off gradually and cause a slow pressure loss that goes unnoticed until a lubrication point is starved.
